There is Gulliver’s Kingdom at Matlock and the nearby American Adventure, both theme parks. You can hire cycles at the Tissington Trail and cycle on an old railway line through the open countryside. Carsington reservoir has a visitors centre. You can visit the Midland Light Railway centre at Shipley and have a steam train ride. There is the childrens’ farm at Chatsworth, "The Wind in the Willows" or you can also visit Crich tram museum where antique working trams can be ridden. There are also various museums and caves to visit and the breathtaking Derbyshire Dales.
